Frequently asked questions

What is the best line spacing for writing letters?

Wide rule, 11/32 inch (8.7 mm), suits most adult handwriting and looks relaxed on a letter. Extra-wide spacing of about 12 mm suits young children and anyone writing with a broad pen.

Can I add a picture box for kids' stories?

Yes. Use primary story paper, which has a drawing space above handwriting lines.

Can I print it on coloured paper?

Yes. Load cream or pastel paper for stationery; the lines print in pale blue or any colour you choose in the advanced options.

Is there room at the top for an address or a date?

Yes. There are 30 mm (about 1 3/16 inches) of space above the first line, room for your address, the date and a greeting. Change Space above first line to make it larger or smaller.
