The whole year on one page
A yearly calendar answers questions a monthly page cannot: how many weeks until the holidays, which days of the week public holidays fall on, how long the school term really is. Pinned above a desk or tucked into the front of a planner, it is the quickest way to plan ahead.
Options
Year. Any year; each month is calculated, so dates are always correct.
Starts in. January for a calendar year, or August or September for an academic year that spans two calendar years.
Week start. Sunday or Monday. Letter sizes default to Sunday and A4 to Monday.
Week numbers. Small ISO week numbers to the left of each week, for school and work planning.
Ideas
- Highlight school holidays and term dates on an academic year page.
- Count down to an event by crossing off each week.
- Mark birthdays for the year in one colour and anniversaries in another.
- Plan a year-long project and copy the milestones into a Gantt chart.
Printing tips
Print at 100% / Actual size. For a poster-size year, choose A3 or Tabloid; the layout scales to the page.

Frequently asked questions
What is an academic year calendar?
A calendar that runs from the start of a school year rather than January. Choose August or September and the page shows, for example, September 2027 to August 2028, titled 2027–28.
Portrait or landscape?
Portrait arranges the months in three columns and four rows; landscape uses four columns and three rows. Both fit all twelve months on Letter or A4.
Can I show week numbers?
Yes. ISO 8601 week numbers appear to the left of each week, which is handy for planning school terms and projects.
Is there space to write on it?
A year-at-a-glance page is mainly for seeing dates and marking a few key days. For writing appointments use the monthly calendar, which has a large box for every day.
Which years are available?
Any year from 1900 to 2200, calculated with the Gregorian calendar including leap years.
Can I print it larger?
Yes. Choose Tabloid (11 × 17 in) or A3 as the paper size and the months scale up to fill the page.
