The short version
- Sheets are generated in your browser. Your settings and files are never uploaded to us.
- There are no accounts, logins or email sign-ups.
- We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not, to count page visits.
- There are no ads and no advertising cookies.
What is stored on your device
To make the site useful we store a few things in your browser's local storage: your last settings, presets you save, printer and screen calibration, and your theme choice. The current settings also appear in the page address after the # sign, which is never sent to our server. A service worker caches the site so it works offline. You can delete all of it with the button below or by clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site and roughly where they are (country or city level). It sets cookies (named _ga and similar) that tell repeat visits apart, and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Google Analytics never sees your settings, files or sheets: those stay in your browser. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, to see how fast pages load.
Advertising
The site shows no ads and uses no advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and you will be asked for consent where the law requires it.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply and don't add you to any list.
