Paper for maths, writing, music and making

Students reach for graph paper for algebra and lab work and Cornell notes for lectures. Teachers print handwriting paper with a dashed midline for early writers, or wide-ruled paper with a name line for a class set. Journalers want dot grid in A5. Engineers and scientists need log, polar and isometric paper. Musicians write on staff paper and guitar tab.

Makers are the pickiest of all, because their grids have to match the real world: a cross-stitch grid for 14-count Aida, knitter's graph paper at your gauge so charted motifs don't come out squashed, and pegboard templates at true bead size. Each of those is built from the same measured geometry, so the paper you print is a tool, not just a picture of one.

Completely. Every paper type, size and format is free to download and print, for home, classroom or office use. No sign-up, no email, no watermark.

Will it print the right size?

The PDFs are drawn to 0.001 mm and tell your PDF viewer not to scale them. Print at 100% / Actual size. If your printer itself runs a little large or small, the free calibration corrects every future download.

Which paper size should I pick?

Whatever is in your printer: US Letter in the US and Canada, A4 almost everywhere else. Planners and journals use A5, Half Letter or Traveler's inserts — all included, plus custom sizes.

Can I make a whole notebook?

Yes — up to 200 pages in one PDF with page numbers, binding margins and, for A5, A6 and Half Letter, folded booklets.

Does it work offline?

After your first visit the generator works without a connection, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
