Holidays already on the page
This 12-page PDF marks the eleven US federal holidays set out in law, on the dates the Office of Personnel Management lists for 2027. When a holiday falls on a weekend, the calendar shows both the holiday and the day it is observed, so you can plan around closed offices, banks and schools.
Holiday dates are worked out from the rules rather than typed in: Martin Luther King Jr. Day is always the third Monday in January, Thanksgiving the fourth Thursday in November, and so on. That is why the same option works for any year.

UK bank holidays instead
Choose UK bank holidays (England and Wales) to mark the eight bank holidays, including Good Friday and Easter Monday, worked out from the date of Easter. Scotland and Northern Ireland have different bank holidays, and one-off holidays announced for a single year are not included, so check GOV.UK for those.

Why does the calendar show some holidays twice?
When a federal holiday falls on a weekend, federal offices close on the nearest weekday instead: the Friday before a Saturday holiday, the Monday after a Sunday one. The calendar marks the date itself and the observed day, so both are clear.
Is New Year's Day 2028 a holiday in December 2027?
Yes for federal employees. 1 January 2028 is a Saturday, so it is observed on Friday 31 December 2027, which the December page shows.
Which UK bank holidays are in 2027?
In England and Wales: New Year's Day (1 January), Good Friday (26 March), Easter Monday (29 March), the early May bank holiday (3 May), the spring bank holiday (31 May), the summer bank holiday (30 August), and Christmas and Boxing Day, which move to 27 and 28 December because 25 December falls on a Saturday.
